Bathroom Remodel

We started on our bathroom remodel project. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. I can finally take a shower upstairs without traveling down two flights of stairs to the basement bathroom (good exercise though).

Now, the only reason this took place is because of a leaky pipe. Not the kind of pipe that bursts (due to cold weather) but the kind that erodes (due to gasses and “oldness”). Of all the pipes in that house it had to be the sewer pipe. Upstairs for that matter…above the kitchen!

I think it was leaking for a long time but we never noticed it. Basically, the “water” seeped between the bathroom floor and kitchen ceiling until it found a hole. The “water” started dripping from our chain pull/florescent/ceiling light. Needless to say we found the problem and it was a stinky/wet mess.

Poor Ryan, first he had to deal with the incident from drinking urine out of the fish hole (accidently), then he had to deal with a wet, toilet paper, mess dripping on his head.

 That’s how this project began!

We decided to use Fiberglass Wall Panels for our shower/tub (aka: pig panels)

 and it turned out perfect!!

We decided to leave the toilet and sink in the same spot.

This is a very unique shower because of the sloped ceiling

So I had to special Order this Angled Wall Mount.

All that is left is the baseboard and trim around the door and window.
& a few minor touch ups.

$30.00 Antique Bookshelf is perfect for towels (will be adding baskets later)
