Trimming the Tree

Tree is up!

I actually have a very exquisite way of preparing our tree. Simple mathematics J

I start off with the first row of branches. Once that row is in I fluff the branches (this makes it look more full) Next I take my string of lights and make sure every branch has at least one row of lights from the tip of the branch all the way to the “trunk”.

oops! got a little fuzzzzy!

I continue to layer my branches, fluff and place my lights, until I get to the top. I used about 5 boxes of 100 count lights.

(Make sure your lights work before placing them all on the tree) I have had past experience!

The final touch of trimming the tree!!! My FAVORITE part!!!!

New Twist to Traditional Garland.

How to Christmas Sprigs Instructions.

I started off at Crafts Direct. I walked in NOT

knowing everything Christmas was 50% off!!

so I literally bought $250 worth of sprigs and only

paid half!!

Step 1: Gather three sprigs. I choose a silver/sparkle, green/pine and a green/snow evergreen. burlap.

Step 2: I cut about a 1 1/2" piece of burlap about 1' long and wrapped the sprig stems.

Step 3: use the same width of burlap and cut it about 2 1/2' long (depending in how big you want your bow. Then just tie to railing!

I made 5 total and they turned out great!! Something a little different than your normal string garland.
